The action was devoted to the 65th anniversary of the Victory over fascist invaders. The chair of the War Veterans’ City Council Victor Andreevich Glinchenko, Inokenty Dmitrievich Knyazev and Ivan Semyonovich Savchenko became guests of honor of the Toy Library.
In token of respect and gratitude, they were met standing, with flowers and greeted with applause. A literary and musical composition, based on songs of the war period, was prepared especially for the veterans. The veterans recollected to children their youth spent in war time, their comrades-in-arms and the war troubled years.
The meeting was attended by 50 children.
